Two Transparent-Glazed Stoneware Vessels
Tang dynasty, 7th-8th century
One an ovoid vase surmounted by a waisted neck and galleried mouth rim, raised on a slightly flared foot with flat base; the other a deep, broad bowl molded with an exterior ridge at the base of the upright sides which rise to an everted rim, raised on a slightly flared foot with very shallow, narrow foot ring, the finely crackled clear glaze on each with faint green tint
