An Early White-Glazed Porcelain Lobed Bowl
Late Tang dynasty/Five Dynasties period, 10th century
The rounded, flared sides raised on a low foot and molded as a five-petalled flower, with a double, grooved circle in the center, covered allover with a white glaze of greyish tone; together with a small transparent-glazed white ware dish with everted rim, molded in the center with two peony sprays, Song/Jin dynasty; and with a small transparent-glazed white ware circular covered box, 10th/11th century, the domed cover carved with a flowerhead, the box with petals rising from the flat base
