Three Archaistic Jade Ornaments
Song/Ming dynasty and later
One a small pale yellowish-green jade appliqué carved on one side as a taotie mask, the reverse with a pierced ingot-shaped bar set within a recess encircled by a ropetwist border; one a partially opaque white jade bangle carved as a circle of flattened, twisted cord; the third a small pale yellowish-white and dark russet brown jade sword slide carved on top with scrolls and a demi-taotie mask at one end; together with a small white jade awl-shaped pendant and a small, very thin white and russet jade pendant in the form of a blade fragment with incised herringbone band
