KUNIYOSHI (1797-1861), oban tate-e, 36.8 x 24.2cm. and 36.2 x 24.5cm., Hakone and Ishiyakushi from the series Tokaido goju-san tsui, the first with Soga Goro (Hako-o) carrying a sword box, the second with Yoshitsune and Musashi Benkei, signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga and Chooro Kuniyoshi ga respectively, both very good impressions, good colour, very slight foxing, the second with restored binding holes (2)
