Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn
Young Man in a Velvet Cap (Ferdinand Bol?) (B., Holl.268; H.151; BB.37-C)
etching with touches of drypoint, 1637, second (final) state, a very good impression of this rare print, the very faint almost horizontal wavy line to the left of the sitter's face quite distinct, with narrow to thread margins, a very skilful made-up loss at the upper left and upper right edge, residual glue-staining at the reverse sheet edges, very pale foxing, otherwise generally in good condition
P.95 x 81mm.
