A PAIR OF NORTH EUROPEAN GILTWOOD TORCHERES
First half 19th Century
Of Renaissance style, the circular top carved with a rosette surrounded by velvet within an egg-and-dart moulding, above a turned baluster stem with egg-and-dart carving, on a circular tier above three scrolled acanthus-wrapped legs joined by floral swags and centred by a gadrooned boss, on a concave-sided triangular plinth on lion paw feet and sunken castors, both with plastic label 'THE DUNCAN COLLECTION'
