A Bow figure of a Thames waterman Circa 1753
In a peaked red and black cap, pink-lined yellow frock-coat with red buttons and edging, flowered waistcoat, black breeches and shoes, wearing an oval armorial badge on his raised left arm, standing before a tree-stump on a moulded shaped square base painted with flowers (small finger of left hand lacking, rubbing to enamels on underside of left shoe)
