A HÖCHST CYLINDRICAL TEA-CADDY AND COVER, the sides painted with two gilt scroll cartouches with a couple of peasants on a bridge in a landscape and a fisherman on a riverbank before buildings, the ground with scattered moths, ladybirds and other insects, the domed shoulders similarly decorated, the cover with a pink rose finial (two chips to rim of cover and chips to finial, rubbing to gilt rims), incised IN mark, circa 1765
