The centre painted with a coat-of-arms flanked by mantling above the date 1648 and below the initials P.I.B*MI, within a narrow band of foliage, the well and border painted with stylised scrolling flowers, the underside with flowerheads in divided arched panels (crack from the rim at 2 o'clock around the well up to 2 o'clock, chipping to rim)
