A COALPORT 'SILHOUETTE' PART DESSERT-SERVICE painted in dark-brown monochrome enriched in gilding with Classical figures at various pursuits within gilt band and dot cartouches, the borders variously gilt with pateræ, foliage, anthemion and lozenge ornament within gilt rims, comprising: A two-handled flared ice-pail, cover and inner cover (finial lacking and rim chip to ice-pail) An oval deep dish Two kidney-shaped dishes Two shell-shaped dishes (one with small chip to footrim) Two shaped square dishes (one with crack to rim) A lozenge-shaped dish Twenty plates (one broken, one riveted, three cracked, two repaired, one with star-crack and rim chip, four very rubbed) (some rubbing to gilding), circa 1805
