A QAJAR ENAMELLED GOLD NARGILEH BOWL of cylindrical form with flaring rim, the exterior gold ground with variously shaped cartouches containing birds and floral sprays around large cartouches depicting scantily clad mother and child groups divided by smaller cartouches with European and Persian youths above Persian maidens, orange panels around the base, the interior mottled plain light blue, circa 1840 (very slight damage and repair)
