INDENT Lieutenant Ronald Herbert Pike Pease, born 1896 son of the Rt. Hon. Herbert Pike Pease M.P. for Darlington from 1898 until his elevation to the Peerage in 1923 as 1st Baron Darlington, was educated at Eton, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, December 1914 and arrived in France May 1915; he was advanced to Lieutenant, May 1916. Lieutenant Pease was killed instantly while leading his men over the parapet in the attack on Flers Courcellete 15 September 1916 during the British six mile advance on the Somme

The Hon. Margaret Alice Pease, trained at Holloway Sanatorium, V.W., 1927-1930, and registered as a qualified Mental Nurse, London, 1931.
