INDENT Captain Herbert Quintus Irwin, born 1884, was commissioned in the Connaught Rangers from the Special Reserve, 1909 and was advanced to Lieutenant the following year. He was killed in action, 26 April 1915, the first day of the Second Battle of Ypres and was buried in La Brique Military Cemetery, No. 2 St. Jean-les-Ypres
