The blade honzukuri, iorimune, chugissaki with two grooves to both sides, without sori, forging pattern obscured, tempered edge suguba, maru-boshi, tang machi-okuri with three holes, 15 9/16in. (39.6cm); with a black lacquer scabbard, cotton wrapped tsuka with copper fuchi-kashira, gilt and shakudo menuki of birds, iron mokkogata tsuba with a mon of a fan, slight damage; a Nobutaka wakizashi in lacquer mounts with a dragon, the blade honzukuri, iorimune, chu-gissaki, torii-zori, forging pattern itame mixed with masame, tempered edge notare, chu-maru boshi, tang suriage, mei: Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka, 17th century, several blisters, 20 11/16in.(52.5cm.); encased in black lacquer saya decorated with a dragon in iroe hiramakie, tsuka without binding covered with brocade, shakudo nanako fuchi-kashira decorated with gilt dragons, gilt menuki of coiled dragons, with an iron tsuba pierced with dragons, iron banded kozuka, mei: Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka, 17th Century (2)
