A SULTANABAD BOWL with rounded sides on short foot, the interior painted in white slip, outlined in black and splashed in green with a variety of floral motifs around the figure of a flying bird, the rim with a band of inverted calligraphy, the exterior with radiating lobed panels, all covered with a thin clear glaze, 14th century (repaired, minor restoration)
