TWO STANDING IVORY FIGURES, one of a princess holding a tasselled ruyi-sceptre in her raised hands, wearing elaborately carved robes over a long skirt, her hair secured with a hairpin in the form of a phoenix, the other of a court official also wearing elaborately decorated robes, a dagger hung from his waist, his raised left hand stroking his long beard, his hair, partly covered with a typical official's hat, tied in a plait falling down the centre of his back, 19th Century
