AN IVORY MODEL OF A BARGE delicately carved and constructed with a clinker hull and pierced panelled cabins with hanging doors and windows, occupied by painted ivory figures playing cards both inside and on the projecting foredeck, a couple standing on the upper deck among jardinieres and various crew members on the gunwales, the transom with flags and lanterns (minor damage), circa 1820
