MORNING, a maiden with flowing tresses wearing a pale-blue head-band, raising her hand to shield her face from the dawn light as she divests herself of her enveloping grey robe enriched with a gilt lustre, the back of the robe painted with red passion flowers and green leaves outlined in gilding, the figure supported on the folds of her robes and a cluster of clouds, a putto holding garlands of pink flowers at her feet, on a yellow and apricot oval base and waisted oval plinth (restoration to her torso, face and neck), purple printed marks and impressed 20, model number 1819, date code for 1895
