Each of shaped-oblong form and with beaded and foliage borders, the domed covers with detachable crest finial and engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, marked on base, covers and handle - 12¼in. (31cm.) long

The arms are those of Coker impaling Aubrey for Thomas Lewis Coker Esq. (1791-1849) of Bicester House, Co. Oxford and his wife Charlotte, youngest daugher of Lieutenant Colonel Aubrey, whom he married in 1819. (2)
