Apparently the only edition of this work. Two of the plates are after G. Lory, père, while the rest are by his son. Some of the images were reproduced in a reduced form in Ostervald's Voyage pittoresque dans la vallée de Chamouni et autour du Mont-Blanc, with text by Raoul-Rochette, Paris 1826 (cf. lot 109).
