Lot Essay

This model of table, inspired by a late 18th Century table at Fontainebleau, relates to one bearing the mark of T. Millet (d.c.1918). (see D. Ledoux-Lebard, Les Ebenistes du XIX Siecle, Paris, 1984 p.484). François Linke's (1855-1946) principal establishment was in rue Saint-Antoine.
