Lot Essay

Alexei Petrovitch Gratchev focused on the romantic side of life in Tzarist Russia. This group, cast by the German founder Woerffel of St. Petersburg, is known as 'The Sweethearts Farewell', it is a sensitive model both in conception and execution.
