A FINE IZNIK POTTERY DISH with everted cusped rim on short foot, the interior painted in 'Rhodian' colours with an asymmetrical design of a scrolling saz leaf entwined with roses, carnations, tulips, pinks and other floral sprays, the rim with S-motifs on a ground of whorls, the exterior with alternating rosettes and floral sprays in blue and green, circa 1570 (negligible chips to red and on rim, foot drilled for suspension)
