Lot Essay

According to the accompanying letter from Peter Buchanan, Donegan's manager from 1956, this guitar was Lonnie Donegan's own that he kept in the dressing room. It was used to compose songs such as My Old Man's A Dustman, Have A Drink On Me, Lively, The Market Song, Ding Ding, Auntie Maggie's Remedy and many others.
