Lot Essay

According to the vendor, these signatures were obtained when he bumped into The Beatles at Acton train station, London in 1964 when they were filming A Hard Day's Night. According to Lewisohn, while filming train scenes during the first week in March, 1964, the band would board the train at Acton Main Line because it could be done more discreetly than at Paddington.
