With rebrowed etched twist barrels signed 'Wm. & Jno. Rigby, Dublin' in Gothic script on the barrel, signed scroll engraved breech bolts each fitted with safety-catch and with platinum-lined aperture at the front, finely figured walnut stock (minor bruising), chequered grip and fore-end, iron mounts with characteristic scroll engraving, and shield-shaped silver escutcheon engraved with owner's crest and initials 'JGP' (some wear and surface pitting)
