bearing marks resembling a rubbed Parisian maker's mark, resembling the Paris date-letter 'P' for 1756/1757 or 1779/1780, resembling the second charge mark of Henry Clavel and a rubbed discharge, with two later post-1838 Parisian restricted warranty marks for gold, the flange engraved '20 K. 5.32', the miniatures in the manner of Lioux de Savignac
Rectangular gold box, the cover, sides and base inset with watercolour on vellum miniatures under glass depicting riverside, harbour and lakeside landscapes in the manner of Vernet, within reeded cagework mounts, the inside gold lined
