Circa 1890, marked with inverted underglaze blue crossed swords underneath A and above B
(Affe) after a model attributed to Johann Gottlieb Kirchner (before 1733), painted in colours and naturalistically modelled as a monkey with white fur enhanced in brown to its hands and tail, wearing a belt decorated with Purpurmalerei diaperwork between two gilt bands, holding a pomegranate and an apple, seated on a gnarled treetrunk
