Three Meissen lace groups of maidens
Late 19th century, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords, various Pressnummern and incised numerals
Gilt and painted in colours, comprising: two after models by Johann Carl Schönheit, one allegorical of Sentiment, modelled as a seated young lady tickling a parrot in a cage standing on a table next to her, the other allegorical of Sound, modelled as a seated young lady in front of a harpsichord, both on shaped plinth; and one after a model by Victor Acier, depicting a slumbering maiden seated on a large kitchen chair and holding her hand on a high side table, on shaped brickwork plinth
