A Meissen group of The Broken Bridge
Late 19th century, marked with blue crossed swords, Pressnummer 23, incised 463
Gilt and painted in colours, after a model by Victor Acier, modelled as a gentleman ushering a lady across a broken bridge, wearing 18th century attire, she holding her hand to her head, he holding a garland of flowers, a winged putto at her feet, another at her back, on rockwork mound above a fluted oval base (small restorations)
