Maker's mark of Johann Karl Burger, Augsburg, 1773/75
The shaped oval back-plate chased with flower filled basket enclosed by foliate scrolls and with rocaille shaped rim, the flat-backed molded vase-form font chased with flowers between foliate scroll and rocaille borders, the reverse with pendant ring--7¼in. (18.4cm.) long, 4oz.
