A small number of other barometers of this model are known. Both the example in tortoiseshell sold Sotheby's Monaco, 5 February, 1978, lot 131 and another in ebony sold Sotheby's London, 24 November, 1988 are signed, as is this barometer, by Cleret a Rouen.
