A CONTINENTAL SILVER MODEL OF A HORSE AND RIDER, late 19th Century, probably Hanau, formed as a mid 17th Century gentleman on a prancing horse, the double domed circular base chased with large flowers, the upper dome chased with natural ground and applied with a turtle, a snail and a salamander, with broadly crimped rim, with detachable heads--16½in. (41.9cm.) high, 69oz.
