The arched molded hood with pierced fret centering three plinths surmounted by brass ball-and-spire finials above a molded cornice over an arched glazed door opening to a white-painted dial with Roman and Arabic chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds hand and calendar day aperture surmounted by a lunar dial with moon, sailing vessel, and landscape, the spandrels embellished with various painted flowers, the dial inscribed Benj Willard, all flanked by stop-fluted collonettes with brass capitals and bases above a waisted case with fan-inlaid corners and a beaded cupboard doors flanked by stop-fluted quarter columns with brass capitals and bases over a line and fan-inlaid rectangular box base, on ogee bracket feet--94¾in. high, 19½in. wide, 18¼in. deep
