The long and slender inro decorated in sumi-e togidashi with the wedding procession of the foxes, on one side, and the red torii gate and tall evergreen of a shrine on the other, the background of matte pewter the simulate the atmosphere of misty, moonlit darkness, the two small paper lanterns carried by the two foxes in the front of the procession lacquered in red, the interior cases nashiji; fitted with a cloisonné enamel bead ojime and a netsuke modelled as a dancing fox decorated en suite and with face inlaid in ivory--4 1/8 in.
