The compressed body is finely carved in relief with stylised taotie masks and raised on three cabriole legs emerging from animal masks, the shoulders with a pair of ring handles superbly carved in reticulation as phoenix suspending loose rings, the domed cover repeats the taotie design and is surmounted by a pierced dragon roundel, the semi-translucent stone of a bright green tone suffused with small areas of russet
