A RARE BRONZE CEREMONIAL HALBERD BLADE, GE
WARRING STATES PERIOD (475-221 B.C.)

The blade, cast with an inscription to both sides, the hollow socket cast with a taotie mask above two coiled dragons and a thin border of cowrie shells, supporting the openwork dragon, its head resting on the top of the blade, end to end with a phoenix grasping a snake in its curled beak, the golden patina with green encrustations (minor losses to the extremities)
