TWO SMALL AGATE CARVINGS

One a pendant hollowed and carved in the round as two monkeys climbing amidst entangled branches of peach and lingzhi, with a butterfly on one side, the stone shading from pale gray, to ochre, to dark brown, the coloring of the stone used to highlight the carving; the other a brushwasher carved as a hollowed lingzhi head enveloped by gnarled branches of further lingzhi, the stone of pale and dark gray color with russet mottling throughout
