A MOTTLED APPLE-GREEN JADEITE CENSER AND COVER
Well-carved in low relief on the compressed lower body with a band of lotus scroll interrupted by three short lion-mask-capped feet, the flanged rim set with a pair of openwork lotus-form handles, the domed cover similarly decorated with a band of lotus edged with a narrow band of lappets below the finial carved as a coiled dragon clutching a sacred pearl, the semi-translucent stone of mottled yellowish-green tone suffused with areas of pale russet and bright apple-green
