A MOTTLED EMERALD-GREEN JADEITE CARVING OF GUANYIN AND ATTENDANTS
The immortal standing wearing a high cowl and a jeweled pectoral at her chest, her robe borders carved in low relief with scrolling, the lower part of her skirt with lotus, flanked on her right by a female attendant holding a vase in her raised right hand and on her left by a partially clad boy, each standing on a lotus blossom borne on trailing stems which form the base, the stone with attractive areas of deep emerald color and some russet inclusions (old damage restored)
