Naturalistically modeled as branches of flowering and budding quince and small star-shaped blossoms, all cut from white and dark spinach-green jade, lapis lazuli and coral, rising from a lapis lazuli quadrilobed jardiniere of mottled blue and white tone, the jardiniere carved with muscular qilin in high relief clambering along the sides, rim and interior of the vessel (minor damage and repair)
