A SMALL PAINTED ENAMEL OVOID TEA-POY AND COVER
QIANLONG
Painted with a continous scene of a pheasant standing on a rock and a water bird seated on the edge of the same outcropping amidst branches of blossoming tree peony and roses, with a butterfly hovering on the reverse, all below a leaf-shaped collar painted on top with lime-green diaper and on the upturned edges of the underside with veining, with bands of classic scroll in blue painted on the neck, flared foot and cover below scattered blossoms and a bud finial (minor chips to enamel on cover)
