A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER DESSERT STAND WITH CUT AND FROSTED GLASS BOWLS, London, 1858, maker's mark probably that of Alexander Macrae, each on domed hexfoil base raised on four ruffled rocaille supports, engraved with crest, the dome chased with natural ground and issuing two crossed rusticated trunks supporting spreading circular bowl, for the two lobed circular bowls, each with frosted finish, each lobe with clear stylized leaf, with wavy rim (one lobe with loss)--the stand 8½in.
