A FOUR PIECE VICTORIAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Richard Pearce & George Burrows, London, 1846, comprising teapot, long necked coffee pot, gilt lined two handled sugar basin and cream jug, each with plain spreading circular body below long broadly concave fluted tapering cylindrical neck, on four elaborate foliate tapering scroll supports, the neck engraved with panels of engraved lush foliate C scrolls and brickwork, two with vacant cartouche, with scalloped and squared rim, the pots with part engraved highly raised scroll spout, partly reeded and engraved scroll handle, the hinged flat topped, part highly raised cover surmounted by acanthus bud finial--the coffee pot 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, gross weight 72oz. (4)
