A Vienna-style plate, painted in colours with a portrait of a young girl in a red fur-lined robe feeding a parrot on her shoulder, within a claret-ground reserved with coloured panels painted with flowers and birds in colours and gilding, the reverse inscribed "Mädchen mit Papagei" blue beehive mark - 9½in. diam. (slight wear).
