A Kutani bowl decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt, the interior with two square panels, one partly covered, depicting scenes of Genji, the inside of the rim decorated with a band of hanabishi lozenge diaper pattern, the exterior with a continuous design of flowers and foliage -- 8in. diam, signed Kutani Kaburaki sei Setsu ka do.
