A large reticulated koro and pierced domed cover modelled as a kiku head with upright square handles issuing from the flattened shoulder, painted and heavily gilt with a broad band of the Immortals including Ebisu, Daikoku and Jurojin with their various attributes, between formal borders, the cover with a multitude of chrysanthemum heads (slight gilt rubbing) -- 14½in. high, signed Ryokuzan below a gilt Satsuma mon.
