A finely engineered and very detailed 3½in gauge model of the Erie Railroad Class C3 0-6-0 Switcher locomotive and tender built by L Parker -- 11¼ x 47in (28.5 x 119.5cm)
With braised superheated copper boiler with combustion chamber and fittings including water gauge, twin safety valves set to lift at 80 psi, blower, twin injector and clack valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Baker valve gear, piston valves, studded stuffing boxes, fluted connecting rods, displacement lubricator, two injectors, working leaf springs, steam operated brake gear, electric head lamp and lever operated double ashpan/damper doors, buckeye coupling, and sanding boxes and pipework. Dummy fittings include steam reverser, generator, vacuum pump, bell, whistle, fine pipework, feed water heater and many other details. Tender details include twin four wheel bogies with roller axle bearings and check chains, two hand feed pumps, electric lamp, battery box and switch, wooden walkway, rivetting, buckeye coupling, water cocks and steam operated brake gear. Finished in ERR black livery. Carrying boxes.
