A satinwood, tulipwood banded and line inlaid serpentine kneehole writing desk the raised superstructure with central tambour shutter enclosing compartments above four drawers and central frieze drawer and arched apron flanked by two drawers either side on square tapering legs with spade feet, with false drawers to the reverse, restorations -- 54½in. (138.5cm.) wide, 22in. (56cm.) deep, 38in. (97cm.) high.
