A collection of finely carved and decorative miniature knife edged weapons made from steel, brass, wood and other materials by D A Heanes. Measurements overall -- 9¾ x 15in (24.8 x 38cm)
The collection includes an Austrian processional Halberd, c 1563; a French processional Partisan, c 1670; French, Spanish, German and English swords of various dates between 1530 and 1840; a German processional flamboyant two handed sword c. 1550; a 2nd World War period Japanese officer's sword; and examples of daggers from various countries of similar dates; all mounted and contained in a wooden display case.
